The Cortlandville Town Board held their first meeting of the month last Wednesday (February 1st) and gave recognition to the Cortlandville Fire Department for their quick response to the dealership fire at Cortland Chrysler on January 20th in the early morning hours.

The certificate was given thanks to their “Heroic efforts in keeping the town and residents safe.”

A group of people in a courtroom or meeting room stand and clap, facing several seated uniformed individuals. Papers and laptops are on tables; empty benches line the back. The atmosphere appears formal and respectful.

A man at a desk shakes hands with a uniformed fire chief who is holding a certificate. Papers and a microphone are on the desk, and a woman stands smiling in the background in a wood-paneled meeting room. — Photos from Town of Cortlandvilles Instagram Page
