The Town and Village of Tully will be hosting a community open house and facilitating a community survey for joint comprehensive plan updates on March 30th from 6 to 8pm.
All residents and community stakeholders are being invited to attend by the Town and Village to the open house at the Tully Municipal Building at 5833 Meetinghouse Rd, Tully. The community survey may also be found online.
A comprehensive plan is used as a guide for municipalities for decision making for both public and private development. The current comprehensive plan for the Town and Village of Tully was adopted back in 2005. With changing conditions and current trends both the Town and Village look to updating the plan to ensure the plan is up to date with current and future needs from the two municipalities.
The open house on March 30th will start off with a brief presentation and also provide an overview of the updates’ purpose and process. Attendees will also learn more about the project through a poster gallery, which they can then give feedback. Those who have questions will be assisted by the consultant team for the comprehensive plan and members of the Comprehensive Plan Sub-Committee.
