Tompkins County SPCA Warns of Pet Poisoning In Ithaca Collegetown Neighborhoods

The Tompkins County SPCA is urging caution for cat owners living in the Collegetown neighborhood after several cats have been intentionally poisoned.

The SPCA says cats in Ithaca’s Collegetown neighborhood should be kept indoors when not supervised.

They said Sunday night that several cats turned up with “symptoms pointing towards an intentional poisoning.”

Humane officers are investigating and anyone with information is asked to call (607) 319-5067.
