Tompkins Cortland Community College has seen an increase in enrollment for the 2023 fall semester. The school reports a 11.4% increase in core enrollment.
Classes began on Monday, August 28th at the school. The increased enrollment is the second straight year the school has seen a double-digit increase in their core enrollment. A majority of the incoming freshmen come from Tompkins and Cortland counties, and around 80% come from within 50 miles of the main Dryden Campus. Student age range spans from 16 to 66 years old.
TC3 says students may still add classes during the first two weeks of classes, with some sessions beginning at a later period. The school also says over 50 classes, including online classes, are available in a ten-week format and begin as late as October 3rd. Registration is still open at TompkinsCortland.edu.
