During Tompkins Cortland Community College’s commencement ceremony on May 23rd, the school presented the Distinguished Alumni Award to three alums.

Those three alumni were Roxann Noble, Lonnie Park, and Lisa Perfetti, who were honored by school president Dr. Amy Kremenek. The award recognizes alums who have excelled in their profession and service to the community.

Roxann Noble graduated from TC3 in 2010, and is currently serving as the airport director for Tompkins International Airport. She graduated with a Business Administration degree the same year as her daughter graduated from high school while working full-time. Noble has worked for Tompkins County for almost three decades and continues her dedication to serving the people of Tompkins County.

Lonnie Park graduated from TC3 in 2014. Originally beginning school in the 1980s, Park left to pursue his career in music that has led to multiple Grammy Awards and honors. He returned to the school to finish his degree and aided the school’s communications program by designing courses and sharing his experience with current students.

Lisa Perfetti graduated from TC3 in 1988. She has over 30 years of experience in the medical field as a registered nurse. Currently, Perfetti serves the Cortland Community as a member of the County Health Department and helped guide the community through the COVID-19 pandemic as Public Health Director. She continues her service by providing medical access to those who live in rural areas and advocates for individuals with disabilities.
