Todd Rundgren On Tour With Yes This Summer

Music News

Todd Rundgren will be joining forces with Yes and Carl Palmer’s ELP Legacy for a 17-date North American theater and shed run this summer. Rundgren is currently on the road in support of his latest album, White Knight, which features contributions from Donald Fagen, Daryl Hall, Trent Reznor, and Robyn. Pitchfork reported Rundgren appeared on Fox News to premiered the video for “Tin Foil Hat,” his Donald Fagen collaboration, which “makes fun of Donald Trump, Steve Bannon, Jeff Sessions, Kellyanne Conway, and former Fox News anchor Bill O’Reilly.”

Rundgren admitted that even with a still devoted fanbase, touring on his own just simply doesn’t cover costs anymore: “It doesn’t make financial sense. The economics of touring on the road — if you don’t have underwriting from a record label — don’t really pan out in terms of how much time you have to spend in order just to make a minimum amount of money.”
