Time Still to Register for Summer Reading With Phillips Free Library

The Phillips Free Library in the Village of Homer is reminding residents that there is still time to register for the summer reading program the library hosts each year.

The summer reading program is for children, teens and adults of all ages. For the program, readers will keep track of how many pages they’ve read and report it online or in person at the library.

If the collective reading reaches 210,000 pages read in the summer, the library will perform a book cart drill team routine in a costume during the summer celebration partly on August 4th.

Readers will be able to vote on what costumes they’d like to see the team wear when they report the number of pages they’ve read.

You can register for the program by clicking HERE.
