Three Families Homeless After Friday’s Three-Structure Fire In McGraw

Friday’s (July 19) three-structure fire on Highland Avenue in McGraw is turning out to be even more tragic than originally anticipated.

It’s now been confirmed that three families have been left homeless from a blaze that started inside a garage around 1:30 a.m., quickly spreading to the two surrounding structures including a home and an apartment building.

Thankfully, there were no injuries, but nearly everything else inside all three structures was destroyed.

Each family has a GoFundMe page set up where you can donate to help them recover financially from their immense losses:

 

 

Also, if you have furniture, clothes, household items or anything else you’d like to donate, you can drop those off in the lobby of Crown Park Nursing Home, 28 Kellogg Road in Cortland.
