Thirteen members of SUNY Cortland’s men’s and women’s indoor track and field teams have earned a total of 15 All-Niagara Region honors from the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for the 2022 indoor season.
To be named all-region, an athlete must either be ranked in the top five of an individual event in the region or be part of a top-three relay team according to final Track & Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS) data for the season.
Cortland’s all-region honorees are:
MEN:
Ryan Cory, Jr. (Beacon) – 3,000 meters** and Mile
Michael Eubanks, Sr. (Islip) – 4×400-meter relay
% Coltrane Goring, Jr. (Los Angeles, CA/Notre Dame) – 4×400-meter relay
Sam Haaland, Jr. (Shokan/Onteora) – Pole Vault
Amarian Hughes, So. (Marlboro) – Triple Jump
Evan Jensen, Fr. (Red Hook) – 4×400-meter relay
# Aaron Jones, Jr. (Buffalo/Hutch Tech) – 60-meter hurdles** and 200-meter dash
# Brett Morse, Jr. (Saratoga Springs) – 60-meter hurdles**
Zach Nyhart, Jr. (Hamburg) – Pole Vault**
Justin Schrom, So. (Richmondville/Cobleskill-Richmondville) – 4×400-meter relay
