Oil prices continue to fall and for the consumer, this is good news. Recently gas prices in New York State have fallen from $4.89 a gallon a week ago to now $4.78.
Prices are expected to continue the trend even when demand for gas has increased dramatically as the summer vacation season gets into full swing.
Cortland County remains as one of the highest counties in upstate New York to fill up with an average of $4.88 a gallon. Surrounding counties are all well below an average of $4.80 a gallon.
