The Beatles have released three newly remastered promo clips online to the thrill of new and old fans who are seeing these clips for the first time in pristine quality. The “videos” for “A Day In The Life,” “Hello Goodbye,” and “Revolution,” will be officially released on November 6th as part of the 27-track Beatles 1 CD/DVD and CD/Blu-ray — renamed 1+ (One-Plus), which pairs newly restored videos for each song with new stereo and 5.1 Dolby Digital and DTS HD surround audio mixes. The new audio/visual collection celebrates the “Fab Four’s” career in over 200 minutes through 50 promotional films and videos.
Paul McCartney says that like the rest of us, he’s still astonished at the legacy the Beatles have left behind: “Y’know, I’m very proud of everything we did with the Beatles, uh . . . In truth, looking back, I kinda can’t believe it, ’cause we were just working each day, year-in, year-out, making records. Now that it’s over — the Beatles is a body of work now. So I can look back on it now dispassionately and just judge it for what it is, and I think it’s fine. I’m kind of amazed we did it.”
