The 32nd Annual New York State Blues Festival is coming to Syracuse Thursday, June 13th through Saturday, June 15th. Headlining this year with a performance on Saturday will be blues rock legends, Little Feat. The festival will feature additional performances from blues icons Shemekia Copeland and Matt Schofield, along with numerous talented local artists.

The festival, now in its 32nd year, is free to the public. The Los Angeles-based group, The Record Company, will close the festival on Friday, June 14, supported by rising star Mathias Lattin. Opening night on Thursday, June 13, will feature performances by Chicago blues band Lil’ Ed & the Blues Imperials, Canadian group Bywater Call, and the versatile Hanna PK.

Local blues veterans such as Tom Townsley Band, Matt Tarbell’s Built For Comfort, Cinnamon Jones, The Shylocks, and Rattlesnake Trio will also take the stage. Side stage acoustic acts, including Colin Aberdeen and Tim Herron, will perform during main stage changeovers. Additional acts will be announced soon.

Festival-goers can enjoy a variety of food, wine, beer, and craft vendors. Onsite camping at the Empire RV Park and discounted hotel rates are offered for attendees. For more details on VIP packages, RV sites, and hotel reservations, visit NYSBluesFest.com

The New York State Blues Festival celebrates the widespread influence of blues music by featuring a diverse lineup of acts from around the world. Its mission is to preserve, protect, and promote blues music and culture through education, community events, and workshops, culminating in a free outdoor festival.
