TC3 & Syracuse University Sign Transfer Agreement
Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) and Syracuse University announced Tuesday morning the signing of a new transfer agreement which will provide graduates of TC3 a direct transfer pathway into online bachelor’s degree programs in the College of Professional Studies at Syracuse University.
The agreement was signed by TC3 President Amy Kremenek and College of Professional Studies Dean, Michael Frasciello. TC3 says this will offer graduates discounted tuition rates for the undergraduate online degree programs at Syracuse University.
“Helping students succeed is our top priority at TC3, and for many, success is being accepted into a top world-class institution to complete their undergraduate degree. This agreement provides a guaranteed path for our students to transfer into Syracuse University and complete their bachelor’s degree at a top university,” said President Kremenek. “This partnership presents a tremendous opportunity for our students, and I am proud of the work of everyone at TC3 and Syracuse for bringing this agreement to fruition.”
TC3 graduates, who have completed an associate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 or better in one of seven programs are now guaranteed to be accepted into one of the two bachelor’s degree programs at the College of Professional Studies. The students will also receive a discounted tuition rate for the uninterrupted duration of their enrollment at the college, TC3 says.
