TC3 Seeking Public Input on Expanding Adult and Family School Housing

Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3) is seeking public input in expanding the adult and family student housing on their Dryden Campus. TC3 says both adult students and adult students with families have unique needs and face specific challenges.

The school is currently looking into the possibility of on-campus housing options for students with families including those with dependent children, and single adult students age 25 or older.

With this, community members who are 18 years of age or older are being asked to provide feedback through a quick online survey. TC3 says the survey will keep participants’ answers anonymous.

Back in the spring of 2023, TC3 said they received a grant from the Park Foundation. The grant allowed the school to look at ways in helping their adult students, particularly in housing. TC3 is currently working with Illume Projects in studying the opportunities and obstacles posed by the possibility of dedicating part of the schools on-campus housing for students with families or adult students.

The survey is open through March and those interested in participating in the survey may click HERE. Anyone seeking additional information related to the survey is asked to call 607-227-1184.
