TC3 President to Speak at Upcoming YWCA Cortland Board of Directors Annual Meeting – Public Welcome to Attend

The YWCA of Cortland says Dr. Amy Kremenek, President of Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3), will speak during the organization’s annual Board of Directors meeting next Monday, May 12th at 6pm. The meeting will be held at the YWCA’s multi-purpose room; members of the community are welcome to attend.

Prior to the meeting, at 5:30pm, there will be an opportunity to socialize with complimentary light refreshments provided by the YWCA.

Dr. Kremenek is the 5th President of TC3, which is part of the SUNY System. She will be delivering an insightful session titled “It Takes a Village.” The session is inspired by the African proverb, “It takes a village to raise a child.” The YWCA of Cortland says this timeless wisdom underscores the power of partnerships and collaboration in tackling our most pressing challenges. Indeed, it takes a “village” to nurture and strengthen a community.

The YWCA of Cortland says in a time when we face increasing complexities, she will explore how to foster environments that nurture transformative leadership for the future. People may contact YWCA Cortland’s front desk staff at 607-753-9651 for more information.
