Tompkins Cortland Community College’s CollegeNow program has officially been re-accredited by the National Alliance of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships (NACEP).

CollegeNow is a concurrent enrollment program that allows high school students to earn college credits before they enroll in college. It provides challenging coursework that evaluates a students abilities across many different programs and helps ease the transition from high school to college. In 2024 alone, nearly 7,800 students across 87 high schools are set to earn nearly 41,000 college credits through CollegeNow.

“Students who participate in the CollegeNow program not only reap academic and financial advantage, but also strengthen their college applications and develop tools for college success,” said Victoria Zeppelin, director of the CollegeNow program. “By taking courses through CollegeNow, high school students gain an understanding of college-level expectations and further develop the college-ready skills necessary for academic success in higher education.”

NACEP is the only national accrediting body for partnerships that use concurrent enrollment, and it makes sure programs like CollegeNow adhere to national standards. CollegeNow is one of only 134 programs to receive the accreditation, which lasts for seven years.
