TC3 Appoints Jason Pomeroy as New Executive Director of TC3 Foundation

TC3 announced on Thursday that they have appointed Jason Pomeroy to be their new Executive Director of the Tompkins Cortland Community College Foundation.

Pomeroy is now responsible for spearheading philanthropy and fundraising efforts to support TC3 as both a university and a community. His prior experience as Director of the Cortland Fund for three years has given him extensive experience in higher education-based fundraising. Pomeroy also held positions at Ithaca College, Cazenovia College, and most recently as the Regional Executive Director of the American Heart Association.

“I know how incredibly gratifying it is to support the efforts of a college,” said Pomeroy. “This is exactly why I love this opportunity and can’t wait to see how we can continue and grow the work of the Foundation.”

Tompkins Cortland Community College formed the TC3 Foundation in 1978 to enhance the learning experience and opportunities for students, and throughout the years, has done just that. With thousands of students receiving scholarships, grants, transportation aid and food, their efforts have not gone unnoticed.
