Community not-for-profit organizations seeking to address the opioid crisis will have a new source of grant funding.
The Tompkins County Opioid Task Force has announced $700,000 in available funding for applicants who will serve Tompkins County residents through a variety of means. That includes strengthening the local overdose prevention network, expanding harm reduction strategies and improving collaboration. The grant program will support two pools of awardees: Pool A with maximum awards of $165,000 and Pool B with maximum amounts of $10,000.
An application overview is published on the Tompkins County website, applicants are instructed to fill out the form by June 30th at 5 PM.
