Some changes are in store for the Lynne Parks SUNY Cortland Alumni House.
After losing about $100-thousand a year, the Alumni Association Board decided to change its strategy for the place.
- No more bed and breakfast accommodations.
- Offices will move to the second floor.
- The house will remain integral to Alumni Reunions, Cortaca Jug Viewing parties and other events.
- Current students and faculty are expected to have more use of the building.
The college will cover more of the maintenance, while the Alumni Association plans for longer term repairs.
After five years, the lease agreement will be re-evaluated.
