SUNY Cortland offers optional departure to students
Local News November 3, 2020After almost a month of distance learning, SUNY Cortland will stay remote for the remainder of the fall semester.
Over the weekend, University president Erik Bitterbaum said an early staggered departure plan was developed alongside the County Health Department for students.
Each must first test negative for COVID-19 before they can head home.
Still, nobody is required to do so before the initially scheduled move-out dates of November 20-23.
No word yet on what the spring semester could look like.
