The Institute for Civic Engagement invites you to participate in a public deliberation –
Voting: How Should We Encourage and Safeguard Our Elections?
Thursday, September 16, 6:30 to 8:30pm
Corey Union’s Fireplace Lounge.
Everyone takes part in these discussions. Moderated small- and large-groups will explore options for making elections accessible and safe.
Participants will have background information, and they will practice skills in civil and productive discussion.
Two other public deliberations are scheduled; both will be in the Fireplace Lounge from 6:30 to 8:30pm –
- Health Care: How Can We Bring Costs Down While Getting the Care We Need? on Wednesday, October 13
- Climate Choices: How Should We Meet the Challenges of a Changing Climate? on Wednesday, November 17.
All events are free and open to the public. Each will follow Covid safety measures.
