Summerhill Man Violates Order of Protection – Threatens to Harm Victim

Just before 6:30 in the evening on April 28th, deputies with the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address in the Town of Summerhill for a reported domestic incident that had taken place.


An investigation by deputies was able to determine the suspect, Kevin R. Gulliver of Summerhill, had threatened to physically harm the victim. The victim had an order of protection against Gulliver, the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office says. The threat violated the order of protection.

Deputies arrested and charged Gulliver with Criminal Contempt in the 1st, a Felony. He was taken to Cayuga County Jail and arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process the following morning on April 29th. His bail was set at $4,000 cash and $8,000 bond. The Sheriff’s Office says he did make bail and was released. Gulliver is due in the Town of Summerhill Court at a later date.
