For the second time in just 6 months, the pavilion at Suggett Park has been vandalized, Cortland Police say.
The City of Cortland Police Department is looking for any information regarding the vandalism that has taken place at the pavilion. The vandalism (shown below) depicts graffiti on the pavement and the tables.
“This senseless destruction is unacceptable, and needs to stop.” Cortland Police said in a release.
The pavilion was vandalized earlier this year in June. That incident had vandals use a large rock to smash the concrete pad with the damage considered significant.
Anyone with information is asked to call CPD at 607-753-3001. Cortland Police also reminds all residents if they see bad behavior in the parks, to contact them immediately.
