New York is the worst place in the United States of America to retire, according to a new study.
The study, published by Bankrate.com, said New York scored poorly due to its high taxes and the high cost of living.
The study considered the cost of living, crime rate (violent and property crimes), health care quality, state and local tax burden, personal well-being for seniors and weather. (temperature, percentage of sunshine, humidity)
The best state in the U.S. to retire? Wyoming. The ranking is based on the low cost of living and low crime rate.
