Street Paving on Main Street to Tentatively Begin on Monday

During the City of Cortland Common Council meeting last night, Cortland Mayor Scott Steve provided an update on the Main Street construction project.

If things go as scheduled, residents in the City of Cortland can expect street paving to begin on Monday, August 26th, weather permitting, on Main Street. Mayor Steve added sidewalk installation will also continue on the east side of Main Street this week with curbing also continuing.

Crown City Rising reports Court Street will be closed today, August 21st, for continued street lighting and fiber optic installation. It was noted that the NBT Bank Drive-thru will also be closed today for curb installation.
