Street Paving in Homer Delayed Until Thursday
Village of Homer Department of Public Works (DPW) Phil Stockton told X101 News street paving, which was planned to begin on Tuesday, has now been delayed until Thursday (August 15th). Stockton says the rainy weather last week is the cause for the delay.
Paving will still commence on Cortland Street within the village Thursday morning. Motorists are asked not to park on the street until paving is completed and the street is reopened. Following Cortland Street, paving will be the following: Prospect (western side), Hudson, and ending on Miller.
Residents with questions may contact the DPW office during normal business hours at (607) 749-3813.
