Street Closures Announced in Downtown Cortland

Crown City Rising reports there are two street closures motorists should be aware of as part of Downtown Cortland’s Main Street reconstruction project for this week. Today (August 19th), Central Ave will be closed as construction crews work to install new street lighting and fiber optic cables.

Tomorrow, August 20th, Court Street is expected to then be closed to traffic to allow crews to install street lighting and fiber optic cables.

In addition to the closures, work continues on installing new granite curbing on the east side of Main Street. Sidewalk installation will also continue on the western side of the street.
