Crown City Rising says construction crews today will continue to install storm sewer lines at the intersection of North Main Street and Main Street in the City of Cortland. With this, traffic will be restricted to one lane.
On Groton Ave, sanitary sewer line work will continue on the street between Main and Monroe Heights. During the work, the street will be closed to all traffic.
Both residents and motorists are also being reminded that signage in place regarding the roadwork is there for the safety of everyone. Altering and/or vandalizing the signage and traffic cones brings in increased risk of injury and is a criminal offense.
