STOP-DWI High Visibility Campaign Begins Tomorrow
Beginning on Halloween and continuing through Sunday, November 2nd, law enforcement agencies across the state will be participating in New York State’s STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign. The campaign will crack down on drunk and impaired driving.
During the campaign, residents can expect to see an increase in law enforcement patrols in both marked and unmarked vehicles. Sobriety checkpoints will also be set up on various roadways. Those who plan to drink this weekend are reminded to make sure they have a safe and sober way to get home. Those can include using a taxi or Uber, and having a designated driver.
