Stay Off The Ice – Homer Reminds Residents of Posted Signs

The Village of Homer is sending out a friendly reminder that residents must stay off the ice rink while it is in the process of freezing otherwise it will not freeze correctly and thus not be usable for skating.

The village says adults were caught walking on the ice with one of them going through the ice as it wasn’t totally frozen. Currently, signs are in place to stay off the ice.

Anyone who sees anyone on the ice is asked to call the Village Offices at 607-749-3322 or Homer Police at 607-749-2028.
