Beginning today (December 13) and running through New Years Day, law enforcement agencies statewide will be cracking down on impaired driving on the roads.
The Governor’s Office announced yesterday that it would once again be running a statewide crackdown, part of the state’s Stop-DWI program. It also ran similar campaigns around Thanksgiving and Halloween.
Holidays are particularly known to create higher statistics of impaired drivers on the road.
Drivers can now expect to see an increase in patrols and sobriety checkpoints over the coming days and weeks.
