Local News

New York State Police are asking the public to help find an Ithaca man who is accused of stealing more than $500 worth of merchandise from the Target store in Lansing.

33-year-old Jason Brown Sr., of Ithaca, turned himself into police Feb. 4 after they released photos of him stealing from the store.

Brown was charged with petit larceny and appeared in the Town of Lansing Court on Feb. 12th. Brown failed to return to court for an April 29th court date.

There is now a warrant out for his arrest.

Brown has matching paw print tattoos on the top of each hand and a tattoo of astrological signs on the right side of his neck.

State Police are asking that anyone who knows Brown’s whereabouts to contact them at (607) 347-4448 or email crimetip@troopers.ny.gov.
