State Police Looking For Help To Find Suspect In Gas Station Robbery

The New York State Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred late Saturday evening in the Village of Lansing.

Troopers responded to the Mobil gas station on N. Triphammer Road shortly before midnight after a male suspect entered the store, displayed a handgun and left with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

The suspect was dressed in black clothing and wore a mask. He was last seen on foot heading north from the store. A search of the area by State Police and Tompkins County Sheriff’s Deputies failed to locate the suspect.
