Back on October 9th, New York State Police responded to a call of a reported dispute on Ward Boulevard in the Town of Newfield. Through an investigation, it was revealed the suspect had entered a residence by kicking in the door and then threatening a victim with a knife. The victim had an order of protection against the suspect.
Then on October, 10th, State Police responded to another call involving the same suspect who threatened the same person near the intersection of Millard Hill and Elmira Rd in Newfield.
State Police arrested the suspect of both incidents on October 14th. 25 year old Cypress Jana V. Hill of Groton, NY was charged with Burglary in the 1st, and Criminal Contempt in the 1st, both felonies. She was also charged with Menacing in the 2nd, a misdemeanor.
Hill was processed and then transported to Tompkins County Centralized Arraignment and Processing.
