The New York State Police in Marathon back on October 7th arrested 37 year old Michael A. Grossi of Cortland, NY.
Troopers as well as Sheriff deputies were dispatched to the area of Tower Rd. in the Town of Cortlandville of Grossi threatening people on the road and also firing a shotgun.
Police arrested him and charged him with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the 3rd, a felony, and Menacing in the 2nd, a misdemeanor. He was also charged with Illegal Discharge of a firearm, an environmental conservation law misdemeanor.
He was taken to SP Homer and eventually Cortland County Jail for arraignment, the victims were given an order of protection by a judge.
Then on October 11th, State Police in Marathon again arrested Grossi for violating the order of protection that was issued 4 days prior. He was processed and given appearance tickets for Virgil Town Court.
