The Great New York State Fair starts today (August 22) and fairground officials say it will be easier than ever to get in and out this year.
The State announced yesterday a $27 million renovation of the Fair’s largest parking lot, the Orange lot, as well as improvements to several off-site Park-N-Ride parking lots.
The upgrades make a record number of parking spaces available each day of the 13-day fair.
The Orange lot also now features a new exit ramp to I-690 westbound, adding a way for vehicles to exit much easier.
Gates open at 7 am today and the buildings at 10 am.
