The New York State Department of Transportation has announced that beginning today, Friday July 21 at 6pm, State Route 392 will be closed in two separate locations until Monday, July 24th.
The closure in Cortland County of Route 392 will be between Palmer Road and Gee Hill Road. For Tompkins County, the closure will be between Bradshaw Road and McClintock Road.
The closure is required for culvert repairs. Detours will be in place utilizing State Route 126. Access on Route 392 will be limited to local traffic only.
The DOT reminds motorists fines in work zones are doubled when speeding.
