The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation says they have debuted a newly redesigned website that will improve accessibility, and user experience, especially for those using a mobile device.
The site was redesigned for easier use for those accessing it via a cell phone and will streamline navigation. It will also have more powerful search capabilities and new multimedia features to provide a more engaging experience for visitors.
“With more than 28 million visitors each year in search of information about DEC programs, environmental rules and regulations, outreach and education, and grant opportunities, DEC’s website is a critical extension of the services we provide for New Yorkers,” said DEC Commissioner Basil Seggos.
The redesigned site will help visitors find regulatory, environmental protection, licensing, and environmental education content and resources easier. You can visit the site now by going to DEC.NY.Gov.
