Nonprofit arts and culture organizations as well as individual artists across New York State now have access to $82 million in State Council on the Arts grants.
The money will support arts and culture organizations in various ways, including helping individual artists create new works and increasing access to affordable rehearsal and studio space. The portal for applications for the grants will open June 1st, with a deadline to apply on July 13th at 4 PM. All applicants must complete the prequalification process through NYS Grants Gateway before applying for a grant.
