The Tompkins Cortland Community College women’s basketball season came to an end Tuesday with a 77-61 loss at Onondaga Community College in the NJCAA Region III quarterfinal.

The nationally seventh-ranked Cortland men’s lacrosse team scored the first five goals of the second half to break a 6-6 tie and went on to defeat Scranton, 13-8, in the Red Dragons’ season-opening game.

SUNY Cortland senior guard Kerry McHugh (Monroe/Monroe-Woodbury) and junior guard Kristy Vitucci (Deer Park) have been named to the 2017-18 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) all-league team. McHugh was chosen to the first team, while Vitucci was a third-team honoree.
