Section V’s Class C Champion Northstar Christian Academy beat Tully in the state semifinals 58-45.

The Tompkins Cortland Community College lacrosse lost Saturday to #8-ranked Monroe CC 13-5.

The Cortland women’s lacrosse team beat Roger Williams, 18-6 Saturday. Freshman Paige Potter of Cortland stopped two shots in 8:30 in her first collegiate action.

The Cortland men’s lacrosse team beat Morrisville St. 19-9 Saturday. Junior Dean Riley of Homer had four goals and three assists. Sophomore Chris Dovi (Cortland) contributed one goal and one assist.

SUNY Cortland beat Brockport 5-1 Saturday. Jake Casey out of Homer pitched two innings of hitless relief.

Le Moyne basketball is part of the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division II tournament. Next game is Tuesday.
