Special Legislative Session Announced For Thursday

Cortland County Legislative Chair, Kevin Fitch, has called for another special Legislative Session for this Thursday, July 24th beginning at 6pm. The special session will take place at the Cortland County Office Building at 60 Central Ave. on the third floor in the Legislative Chambers.

The special session will entertain two resolutions: awarding a bid for the handling, transportation and safe disposal of hazardous waste for the Cortland County Department of Public Works, and the second for the appointment of a Chief information officer.

Prior to the Special Legislative session, a special meeting of the Public Works Committee will take place at 5:30 in Room 302 at the County Office Building. The Public Works Committee will discuss and vote on the same resolutions prior to the Legislative Session. If either resolution fails to be approved by the Committee, it will not proceed to the full Legislature.
