The Cortland SPCA is asking for help identifying the owner of an adult female pitbull that was reportedly found abandoned on East Holl Road, about two miles west of the SPCA on McLean Road.
The SPCA reports she was found in a cardboard box with a blue blanket. She is emaciated and was taken to a veterinarian for a full evaluation.
The SPCA is looking for the person or persons responsible for her abandonment. If you have any information about her or her owners, please contact the law enforcement department of the SPCA by calling 607-753-9386 and pressing 2.
