Solon Man Steals ATV After Breaking Into Residence on Cold Brook Road

A Town of Solon man is facing multiple felony charges after an incident that occurred back on June 3rd. The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office says officers responded around 6:45 in the evening to a residence on Cold Brook Road in the Town of Scott for a burglary investigation.

During the officers investigation of the burglary, they determined 35 year old Coty T. Cute of Solon, had entered the residence without permission and stole several items inside the residence. The Sheriff’s Office says Cute then left the house and then stole the victims all-terrain-vehicle.

The Sheriff’s Office issued an arrest warrant for Cute’s arrest on July 1st. Cute would later turn himself in to the Sheriff’s Office on July 7th. He faces charges of Burglary in the 2nd, Grand Larceny in the 2nd, and Criminal Mischief in the 3rd, all Felonies. 

Cute was arraigned via the Centralized Arraignment Process and was remanded to the Cortland County Jail on $25,000 cash bail or $50,000 bail bond. Cute is due in Scott Town Court next week.
