Ski resorts issued guidance to reopen Nov. 6

Local News

Ski resorts across New York — including those in CNY like Greek Peak, Toggenburg and Song Mountains — can reopen starting Friday, November 6, at up to 50% indoor capacity.

Other strict health and safety protocols will also need to be in place.

Masks are required by visitors at all times, except when eating/drinking or skiing.

Additionally, social distancing must be maintained between parties and lifts will be limited to members of the same party. Ski lessons need to be reduced to no more than 10 people.

Thorough cleaning and disinfection of shared/rented equipment are also required.

In terms of outdoor capacity: During “peak days” or when multiple trails are closed, resorts can not exceed 25%.

Shuttles, food & beverage and retail service all must conform to state guidance.
