With tomorrow being the Brockway Truck Show in the Village of Homer, the village is reminding residents that Main Street will be closed from 8:30am to 4:30pm between Cayuga Street and Clinton Street on Saturday, August 12.
The village has provided information on parking, shuttle service, and access to Main Street shops and the Brewster House.
Parking will be available at the Homer High School upper and lower lots, 215 Main Street (Homer Ave), Heyer Physical Therapy & Homer Elks combined lot (82/84 Cortland Street), and the CNY Living History Center. All parking areas listed above will be available for shuttle services. Shuttle buses will run from 8am to 4:30pm and leave every 15-20 minutes.
The KeyBank, EV charging stations, and Town Hall parking lots will be closed beginning at 10pm today (Friday) until 4:30pm Saturday. There will also be no parking on Water Street.
There will again be a handicap only lot at the municipal lot on James Street, you must have a handicapped permit, license plate, or tag in order to park there. Access to the parking lot is from Route 281.
Access to Main Street Shops motorists will drive down River Street to Pine Street. Follow down Pine before turning right to the back parking lots.
Those headed to the Brewster House, access will be via the American Legion Lot. Drive through the lot to the back of the Homer Fire Station and cross the backyard.
