Sheriff’s Office Conducting Operation Safe Child This Saturday at Fairgrounds

This Saturday, July 13th, at the Cortland County Jr. Fairgrounds, the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office will be set up to offer Operation Safe Child ID cards to community members. The Sheriff’s Office says officers will be on the first flood of the JM McDonald Sports Complex on Saturday from 1 to 4pm.

Operation Safe Child first began in 2005 to promote child safety. Children will be fingerprinted, have their photo taken, and an ID card created.
