The Cortland County Sheriff’s Office is continuing their high visibility engagement campaign through September 5th. The participation by the Sheriff’s Office is part of the state-wide STOP-DWI High Visibility Engagement Campaign.
The Sheriff’s department, along with other law enforcement agencies will be out in force in a coordinated effort to reduce the number of impaired driving-related injuries and deaths.
The Labor Day / end of summer season is just one of many campaigns the Sheriff’s Office conducts for STOP-DWI. The department reminds those who plan to drink to have a sober plan and to download the mobile app “Have A Plan” which can help you find a safe way home.
