Around 2:40 in the afternoon on Tuesday, September 5th, officers from the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office responded to an address on Divers Crossing Road in the Town of Marathon for a reported domestic incident.
During an investigation conducted by officers, it was determined 21 year old Christian D. Padua of the Town of Marathon, was damaging property which belonged to a victim at the address on Divers Crossing.
Officers arrested Padua and charged him with Criminal Mischief in the 4th, a Misdemeanor. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office and was arraigned through the Centralized Arraignment Process and later released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in Marathon Town Court next week.
