Officers responded to the area of Rickard Street in the City of Cortland on Saturday, July 29th in an attempt to locate a person who had two active arrest warrants.
The person was located by officers and identified as 36 year old Ryan D. Nolan of Baldwinsville, NY. As he was being taken into custody, officers found Nolan to be in possession of a controlled substance.
He was charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th, a Misdemeanor and then transported to the Cortland County Sheriff’s Office. He was processed and arraigned through CAP for his outstanding warrants against him.
Nolan was issued an appearance ticket for the Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance charge by the Sheriff’s Office. He is due to appear in Cortland City Court later this month.
